Remember that it is unlawful for any owner to allow an animal to run at large within the corporate limits of the City. Please put your animal on a leash!

If you have a US Flag that needs retired, drop it off at City Hall, and the Boy Scouts will take care of it for you.

Public attendance and input is always encouraged at Dallas Center public hearings, City Council meetings, Economic Development Committee meetings, and other meetings listed in the Events Calendar.

Burnett Complex in Dallas Center

Dallas Center parks are open from 7:00am until 11:00pm

Burnett Complex, Dallas Center

The Burnett Complex is situated west of 13th St (R16) and north of the Dallas Center Elementary School at the south edge of Dallas Center.

Meticulously maintained like all Dallas Center Parks, the Burnett Complex boasts a 1.2-mile walking path, shelters, benches, and drinking fountains.




The complex also contains baseball fields and soccer fields used by both the little league and the school.

The shelters and other park facilities are available during open hours on a first-come, first-served basis; no reservations or fees.
