Remember that it is unlawful for any owner to allow an animal to run at large within the corporate limits of the City. Please put your animal on a leash!

If you have a US Flag that needs retired, drop it off at City Hall, and the Boy Scouts will take care of it for you.

Public attendance and input is always encouraged at Dallas Center public hearings, City Council meetings, Economic Development Committee meetings, and other meetings listed in the Events Calendar.

Dallas County Art in the Park 2012

Saturday, June 2, 2012, 1pm-5pm

Dallas County will be having an Art In the Park on Sat­ur­day June 2nd from 1-5pm at Mound Park in Dallas Center, just one block from downtown main street and 10 minutes north west of Waukee.

We are featuring Iowa Artists, who will be selling acrylic paintings, photography, contemporary pieces, stained glass hangings, crystal jewelry, and yard art.

There will be music, food, wine tasting from two Iowa vine­yards, and great kids' activities.

There is something for the whole family to enjoy, unique gifts for anyone, and you are supporting the arts and buying local too. It is a wonderful afternoon in the park, bring a blanket and enjoy the Art in the Park!
