The Dallas Center Police Department is partnering with the Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division to keep tobacco out of the hands of Dallas Center youth.

The program includes retailer training as well as compliance checks on local establishments.

If you have a US Flag that needs retired, drop it off at City Hall, and the Boy Scouts will take care of it for you.

Dallas Center Easter Egg Hunt


The Dallas Center Easter Egg Hunt takes place at 10:00 AM in Mound Park the Saturday before Easter Sunday.

This year’s Easter Egg Hunt will be sponsored by DuPont Pioneer.  Come join us for some Easter fun at the Dallas Center Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 10:00 AM in Mound Park.  In case of inclement weather, the egg hunt will be held at the DCG Middle School.

The Seasonal Fun Committee will be having a hula hoop contest, egg roll contest, hopscotch and the bunny hop at the skating rink after the egg hunt.

There are treats for the kids to find, activities and, of course, the Easter Bunny! The Rotary Pancake Breakfast will be held from 7:30-9:30 AM at Memorial Hall (1502 Walnut Street), the price is $5.00 per person.We will collect empty plastic eggs for the egg hunt.  If you would like to contribute to this community event, please drop off donated clean, empty eggs at the Roy R. Estle Memorial Library.For more information, please visit
