Five Year Street Improvement Plan

The following is a list of the City’s “Five Year Street Improvement Plan”.  The completed/proposed improvements will be an asphalt overlay which will replace the road material currently in place in these areas (mostly sealcoat).  Next to each project is a place you can click on to see a map of the proposed improvement which will appear in black.  

The first project has been completed and the total cost is provided.  The second project is close to completion and the cost to date is provided.  The last three projects are proposed projects that are subject to change depending on funding and the amount of the bids.  This plan does not include any regular maintenance that will continue to be done on other streets (such as patching potholes, etc.). 

2018/2019 Street Improvement – Maple Street from Kellogg to 10th Street. This project was completed in the summer of 2018 and the total cost of the project was $165,650.00.        Click here for map

2019/2020 Street Improvement – Percival Avenue from Sycamore to Linden Street, Cherry Street from Kellogg to 15th Street and Vine Street from Kellogg to 15th Street.  This project is close to completion and the cost to date is $268,3133.25.         Click here for map

2020/2021 Street Improvement – Sycamore Street from Kellogg to 14th Street, Sycamore from 12th to 9th Street and 9th Street from Sycamore to Vine Street.         Click here for map

2021/2022 Street Improvement – 13th Street from Sugar Grove to Walnut Street and 11th Street from Sugar Grove to Walnut Street.         Click here for map
