Dallas Center

We are a community of over 1900 residents that are proud of where we've been and excited about where we're going. We have a rich heritage in agriculture and host companies that lead the world in animal and plant genetics. We enjoy a small town quality of life within 20 miles of the greater Des Moines community.

Our library, parks, pool and other recreational activities provide opportunities for our residents to unwind. We are home to two Dallas Center-Grimes School buildings offering high quality educational opportunities to our K-8 children in great new facilities. The DC-G School system has strong academic, fine arts and sports traditions. Kids Korner, a local daycare and preschool center, has developed a unique partnership with our schools to provide before and after school care in a controlled, fun environment. We're proud of our kids!
