- Fireworks are allowed in Dallas Center during these times:
- July 1st – July 5th – 9:00 am – 10:00 pm
- July 4th – 9:00 am – 11:00 pm
- Complaints about fireworks should be reported to Dallas County Dispatch at 515-993-4567

Storm Clean-up, Yard Waste & Branch Disposal Reminders
Any limbs or branches that are still lingering from last week’s storm can be disposed of in the following ways. To ensure Waste Management collects your branches, please follow these limits:
- Max Weight: 40 lbs. per bundle
- Max Length: 4 feet long
- Max Diameter: 4 inches per branch
Over-sized limbs cannot be collected and must be taken to the dump or hauled away by a landscaping service. The city does not have a public yard waste dumpster. Thanks for your cooperation!
Dallas Center PK-12 Summer Lunches! The First Presbyterian Church of Dallas Center will offer Sack Lunches! June 2nd-August 20th (Tuesday and Thursdays) 11:30am–1:00pm. Contact them at 515-992-3531 or pastor.aric@dcpresbyterian.org The Church is located 1204 13th Street, Fellowship Hall.

DALLAS CENTER FALL FESTIVAL - Mark your calendars! This year's Dallas Center Fall Festival, themed "Red, White & Retro," will be held August 28–29, 2026.
