Summer Pool Manager Position:
Deadline for application is January 30, 2015. Required minimum qualifications:
Responsible adult with excellent leadership and communication skills, American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid, CPR for the professional rescuer certification (must be updated within the past year).
Job description: Responsible for managing aquatic facility operations including, but not limited to, supervising the assistant managers and lifeguard team, maintaining the facility, and planning and conducting in-service training.

The Dallas Center Police Department is partnering with the Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division to keep tobacco out of the hands of Dallas Center youth.
The program includes retailer training as well as compliance checks on local establishments.
